Jude and her family were forced to flee Syria due to the crisis and after living in the camps in Jordan, they were resettled in Arizona, where they started to make a life for themselves: they had an apartment, her dad got a job as a driver, her baby brother Rodney was born. Unfortunately they had to leave Arizona a few months ago for Jude to get highly specialized medical treatment at Children's Hospital Boston.
Jude has a rare form of muscular dystrophy and had her first of many surgeries in mid-January. Her family needs to stay in Boston so she can continue treatment at Children's.
We have found the family a wonderful apartment in Newton, so they can be close to Children's Hospital and their kids can attend the amazing Newton public schools, but we need your help. Newton is incredibly expensive; while her dad is looking for a job and while her mom takes care of Jude and her younger brothers (6yo and 2yo), they will need help with expenses.
Please help us show Jude and her family that Americans care about them and are willing to help support them while they become more independent. It's hard enough to come here as a refugee and it's hard enough to have a sick child, but to be a refugee family with a sick child is incredibly challenging, but we can help this family through this tough time! Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Also, while we unfortunately don't have a long-term option for them, we do run the Walker Center, a non-profit B&B/conference center in Newton...So if worse comes to worst and you cannot find a long-term solution, let me know, and we can check our schedule to see if we have our family suite available for a couple weeks for them, at a reduced rate. If this is an unnecessary step then feel free to disregard, but if a could be of help, please message me through Facebook.

Would this work? From Watertown Square there's a bus that goes to Needham I think: https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/abo/5991097754.html
