2017 Hurricane Relief Funds
Would you like to help people affected by Hurricanes Maria, Irma and Harvey?
Plumfund Gives is taking donations for the charity organization Direct Relief, which is working in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and other areas in the Caribbean to offer medical supplies for Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria victims.
*All proceeds of this Plumfund will go to Direct Relief to aid in hurricane relief.

Hurricane Maria, a category 3 storm, passed over Puerto Rico with winds as high as 115 mph. There were uprooted trees and the heavy rain which caused major flooding throughout the island. The storm left widespread structural damage in its wake, and the entire island was reportedly without power on Wednesday afternoon. The loss of power presents a range of health risks. Patients on dialysis and other forms of life support are at grave risk if their medical equipment powers down. Even before Puerto Rico was struck Direct Relief was coordinating with the Puerto Rico government regarding emergency response activities. Direct Relief is currently working with contacts at the country’s emergency operations center to gather a list of needs. Direct Relief is also responding to emergency medical needs in other hurricane-affected parts of the Caribbean. Thank you to all who have donated! Your generous donations have helped Direct Relief provide life saving medical supplies to the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. With Hurricane Irma’s presence beginning to recede across Florida, the deadly storm is leaving many to pick up the pieces of their homes and lives. With recovery efforts getting underway, Direct Relief has staff on the ground assessing damage and providing medical assistance at health facilities in the Keys, Tampa, Sarasota, Miami and Naples areas. Earlier this week, nearly 8,000 lbs of urgently needed medical items, including antibiotics, surgical and wound care supplies went out to health facilities. On Sept 14th, Direct Relief completed its 60th Hurricane Harvey emergency delivery since the storm made landfall. The shipments have provided life saving care in shelters throughout the affected region. We would like to keep the momentum going so please keep sharing and spreading the word! Thank you again.

Greetings from Express Resources Owner Lynn Johnson bka Bella Green I'm posting on behalf of Hurricane Irma victum's in my area because most of us has forgotten about the seniors and the people that can't afford help and for those that don't and can't afford insurance so please donate to Direct and also to mine so we as a whole can help each other Amen Amen
